Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support a school district near South Hill, VA. This role focuses on helping students improve communication skills, enhance academic success, and build confidence through individualized therapy services.Youll collaborate closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, student-centered care.Key Responsibilities Conduct speech, language, and communication evaluationsDevelop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)Provide direct therapy services to students (K-12 population)Maintain accurate documentation and progress reportsCollaborate with teachers, special education staff, and parentsParticipate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussionsEnsure compliance with state and federal regulationsQualifications Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology requiredActive or eligible Virginia SLP license through the Virginia Board of Audiology & Speech-Language PathologyCompletion of supervised clinical fellowship (or CF candidates welcome, depending on district)ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferredPrior school-based experience preferred but not requiredStrong communication and collaboration skills#J-18808-Ljbffr
