Weekends required.A caregiver who excels in this role will:Perform general radiology exams, portable exams and fluoroscopic procedures.Produce quality images for interpretation with accuracy and without delay.Acquire, archive, transmit and print images via PACS.Ensure patient comfort and safety during and after the exam.Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment and exams to ensure understanding and cooperation.Maintain documentation.Address equipment malfunctions, notify management and report malfunctions to the help desk and PACS administrator.Assist with scheduling procedures, monitor and determine priority of patients, and process billing.Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic TechnologyRegistered Technologist by The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in good standingCurrent state licensure as a Radiology TechnologistBasic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red CrossPreferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:One year of experience as a General Radiologic TechnologistPhysical Requirements:Requires frequent and long durations of standing and walking.Visual acuity including the ability to distinguish colors.Manual dexterity sufficient to manipulate blood drawing equipment and make measurements.Personal Protective Equipment:Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.Pay RangeMinimum hourly: $29.00Maximum hourly: $44.50The pay range displayed on this job posting reflects the anticipated range for new hires.
