In this role, you will establish policies to create and maintain a safe workplace and ensure company-wide compliance with those policies. The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator with the ability to educate a varied workforce on the importance of safety and compliance with company policies.ResponsibilitiesFollow legal guidelines to create and execute health and safety plansEnforce health and safety policies within the workplaceEvaluate existing practices to assess their risk and adherence to the law, revise as necessaryConduct company-wide trainings and presentations to educate employees on accident prevention and other health and safety concernsMonitor compliance with health and safety guidelinesInspect equipment and workspaces to identify potentially unsafe conditionsQualificationsBachelor's degree in safety management or related field is preferredBe able to work 6:00pm to 6:00amPrevious experience as a Safety manager is preferredKnowledge of health and safety guidelinesStrong written communication skills with the ability to write policies and reportsUnderstanding of risk assessment and data analysisStrong attention to detailExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, comfortable giving presentations in large groups#J-18808-Ljbffr
