You'll also play a vital role in training staff and clients, ensuring the highest standards of care.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide direct nursing care, including administering medications and treatmentsAccurately record vital signs, observations, and medical documentationAssist physicians and support medical appointmentsTrain and support staff and clients in health-related areasRespond to and evaluate client emergencies, taking appropriate actionManage controlled substances and medication storage per state/facility guidelinesParticipate in Individual Support Plans (ISP) and interdisciplinary team meetingsEnsure client safety and assist with daily living activities when neededRotate on-call responsibilities with nursing teamPerform additional nursing duties as assignedWhat We're Looking ForLicensure: Current and valid Tennessee LPN licenseBLS Certification required within 30 days of hireProfessional Crisis Management (PCM) Certification required within 60 days of hireDriver's License: Valid driver's license requiredSkills: Strong written/verbal communication, organizational skills, adaptability, and accountabilityPhysical Requirements:Ability to lift/reposition up to 50 lbsSit/stand for extended periodsProvide physical assistance to individuals as neededCheck and maintain adaptive equipmentA Note from UsThis description is meant to highlight the role and expectations, but duties may evolve as we grow together.
