The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the concrete / precast industry, particularly in precast operations, and will be comfortable with both hands-on operational tasks. Crucial role in establishing and managing precast concrete operations from the ground up.

Job Summary

Start to finish you are responsible for the production of quality precast concrete products. Working in the production plant you will be on your feet all day - move quickly through the task of your day helping meet customer's needs. Assist in loading fabricated rebar on trailers and unloading stock material from trailers. Reading production drawings. Finishing concrete with various floats and other tools. Strip and clean concrete forms and products. Prepare steel molds for filling and concrete. Assist in the concrete pouring and refinish-rebuilt- repair process. Clean and prep mold and forms. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards. Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and improve efficiency. Facility Maintenance and housekeeping.

Precast Concrete Operations Specialist Qualifications

• Proven experience in the precast concrete industry.
• Strong operational background with a hands-on approach.
• Excellent leadership and team-building skills.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Knowledge of concrete mixing systems and production processes.
• Commitment to safety and quality assurance.
• Manufacturing of construction experience preferred.
• Knowledge of basic math and measurements.

• Minimum 3 years preferably in a heavy industrial environment experience
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds, climb ladders and steps, and work outside under all weather conditions when needed
• Must be able to read technical documents and service manuals
• Must be able to write job instructional training documents
• Possess knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in the industrial field
• Must be able to work overtime, either planned or unplanned for emergency situations
