About This Opportunity
Schedule/Hours: 40 hours a week
This position is responsible for:
Planning, coordinating, supervising and evaluating the day-to-day operations of a kitchen; serving as a lead worker to kitchen staff by instructing and participating in the preparation, cooking and presentation of nutritional meals and snacks in accordance with established guidelines and schedules; ensuring all meals are prepared and served in a safe and presentable manner; supervising and participating in the cleaning of kitchen facilities, equipment, and appliances ensuring compliance with health standards; monitoring the inventory of kitchen supplies and food ensuring adequate levels of the same are maintained

What We Are Looking For In You
Education and Experience: High School diploma or equivalent, and Three years' experience planning, purchasing, and cooking meals for large groups with one year experience working in a supervisory capacity, or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Must be cleared by Local Law Enforcement, State of Florida Dept of Children and Families and FBI background screens
Licenses and Certifications: Florida Food Handlers Certificate. Valid State Driver's License. Employee must be cleared through FBI fingerprinting, FDLE criminal check, and credit checks.
