Lead Traffic EngineerYour work environment at EXPEXP's Infrastructure & Transportation Practice provides comprehensive planning, design and construction engineering services for all types of roadway, bridge, water resource, rail, transit and aviation projects. With a unique multidisciplinary team approach, we have a history of successfully delivering some of the most complex infrastructure projects within the Orlando Office and across the Southeast. We are currently looking to grow and enhance our traffic engineering capabilities and are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Traffic Engineer to lead our traffic group in Central Florida.What a day at EXP has in store for youDevelop traffic and safety studies including traffic impact analyses, traffic forecasting, traffic signal timing plans, and perform macro and micro simulation modeling.Prepare intersection and interchange design studies.Develop and review traffic control plans and work zone staging plans.Prepare and review traffic signal design plans, signing plans, and pavement marking plansPrepare and review engineering reports, schematics, plans, specifications and estimatesWork with other staff and other practices groups, as necessary, to execute project deliveryParticipate in industry professional groups and development activities to grow EXP's brand and visibility within the Traffic Engineering and community.What your experience looks likeBS in Civil Engineering from an Accredited University.5+ years of experience required which must include experience leading traffic projects for DOTs, MPOs, and local governments.Licensed PE in the State of Florida and Professional Traffic Operations Engineer (PTOE) certification.Familiarity with industry standards (NTCIP, NEMA, IEEE and NEC), and State and local authorities including FDOT/ATLDOT/GRTA/ARC and MARTA objectives, standards and specifications.Experience with ITS and tolling systems design preferred.Participate in Business Development strategiesDemonstrated ability to work in a team, project management experience desirable but not required.Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skillsActive Industry participation in professional societies at local and State level a plus.Familiarity and proficiency in FDOTCurrent Supported Software Versions required including:OpenRoads Designer (ORD) (Version 10.12.02.04)CAiCE (Visual Transportation 10, SP-8)Bentley Power InRoads V8i (SELECTseries 2 - Version 08.11.07.615)Bentley ProjectWise CONNECT (Version 10.0.3.453)MicroStation/J (Version 07.02.04.20)HCS 2022Synchro 11VISSIM 11SIDRA Intersection 9AutoTurn 3.0 (v7)AutoTurn 11.0.5.37 (v8i and ORD-CE)TORUS 6OpenRoads SignCAD 23.0.0.151MSCE (v23.00.03.005)#J-18808-Ljbffr
