Fleet Maintenance TechnicianSpringfield, OH$33.28/hour | Full-TimeSchedule: 2nd Shift | Monday–Friday | 4:00 PM–12:30 AMWe are hiring a Fleet Maintenance Technician to join our Springfield operation. This role is responsible for maintaining and repairing our fleet to ensure safe, reliable operation and DOT compliance.What You'll DoPerform preventive maintenance and repairs on heavy- and medium-duty vehiclesDiagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic issuesComplete DOT inspections and maintenance documentationUse modern diagnostic tools to troubleshoot and repair equipmentMaintain a clean, safe work environmentPay & Benefits$33.28/hourMedical, dental, vision insurance401(k) with company matchPaid vacation and holidaysCompany-provided uniforms, and PPECareer growth and promotion opportunitiesCDL RequirementClass A CDL requiredDon't have a CDL yet?The company will pay for Class A CDL training after successful completion of the probationary period High School Diploma or equivalent preferredMinimum 2–3 years of experience preferred with mechanical repairs and diagnostics on heavy duty and medium duty equipmentTwo years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience preferredRefrigeration license preferredMechanic Certifications preferred. Candidate must possess ability to obtain Class A CDL upon successful completion of probationary period.Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimalsMust be able to stand, walk, kneel, bend, reach, crawl required for virtually the entire shiftAble to lift up to 50 pounds and assist others when lifting is required. Manipulation of tools, equipment and truck component is requiredMust be computer literate, and have experience with engine, ABS, transmission, etc. diagnostic equipment and softwareMust be able to work in a dusty, greasy environment with moderate to high noise volumeMust be willing to work flexible hours including overtime, weekends and holidaysBe able to effectively work in a team environmentEffective verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work in a fast paced environmentMust be able to pass all pre-employment screens (including drug, background and criminal)An Equal Opportunity Employer
