Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience – talk with your recruiter to learn more.Employment Type: Full-TimeDepartment: LegalJob DutiesReviews case materials to become familiar with questions under considerationReview and analyze cases and make recommendations concerning possible enforcement activityAnalyze cases and gather information from parties that may be necessary to determine whether enforcement action is appropriateMake recommendations concerning discovery for enforcement activity and prepare drafts of discovery requests and pleadings for attorney reviewPrepares digests of selected decisions or opinions which incorporate legal references and analyses of precedents involved in areas of well‑defined and settled points of lawInterviews potential witnesses and prepares summary interview reports for the attorney's reviewParticipates in pre‑trial witness conferences, notes possible deficiencies in case materials (e.g., missing documents, conflicting statements) and additional issues or other questionable matters, and personally conducts limited investigations at the pre‑trial stagePrepares and organizes trial exhibits, as required; shepherdizes and verifies citations and legal references on prepared legal documentsPrepares summaries of testimony and depositionsDrafts and edits legal and non‑legal memoranda, research reports and correspondence relating to casesProofreads pleadings, correspondence and other documents for spelling, grammar, organization, and clarity in accordance with applicable legal requirementsRequirementsMust be a United States citizenMust have lived in the United States for at least 3 out of the past 5 yearsMust be able to pass a criminal and financial background check to earn a federal security clearanceMust have 2 years of Paralegal experienceOur CommitmentContact Government Services (CGS) strives to simplify and enhance government bureaucracy through the optimization of human, technical, and financial resources.
