LiRo-Hill is a 1100-person firm with offices in NYC, Long Island, Buffalo, Rochester, Boston and Edison, NJ.ResponsibilitiesPreparation of ASTM-compliant Phase I / II ESAsSite InvestigationsDrilling/excavating contractor oversight, soil/groundwater/soil vapor sample collectionSoil logging/geologic formationSoil sampling at various NYC agency sitesUse of field equipment (PID meters, Horibas/water pumps etc.)Oversight of GW monitoring well installationsConstruction activities oversight including excavations, monitoring well installations, UST investigations/closures, etc.CAMP implementation and work zone monitoringField activity report writingAssist project PMs with preparation of various summary reports and documents8 hour shiftQualificationsBachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Engineering, or related field1-2 years' experience (entry level candidates will also be considered)Must have a valid Driver's license and car (needed for field work)Self-starter with strong analytical and writing skillsAbility to work outdoors in varying conditions, reliable, detail oriented and a team player.Strong communication skills requiredOSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER, Construction 30 HR.
