Security Supervisor job at Ocean Casino Resort. Atlantic City, NJ. About the RoleUnder Direction, to supervise the operations of the Security Department on an assigned shift and area to maintain a safe and secure environment for our customers, team members and company assets.Position ResponsibilitiesRespond to all non-routine incidents in a supervisory capacity ensuring appropriate action is taken and notifications are madeSupervise and evaluate Security reports for accuracy and completenessEnsure all incidents are thoroughly investigated and appropriate action is taken and proper notifications are madeConduct follow-up investigations on reports as directedActs in relation to employees, customers and/or the general public in a manner consistent with the best interests of the organizationAssure that Casino Control Commission regulations and requirements are met and followed by all Security personnelComplete incident reports detailing incidents that occur on propertyComplies with all New Jersey regulatory requirementsEssential FunctionsExposure to casino related environmental factors including but not limited to secondhand smoke, excessive noise and stress related to servicing customers in a high pressure and fast paced environmentRequires acute sense of smell and sound, ability to talk on and hear a two-way radio and telephoneVisual Acuity correctable to 20/20, normal color, peripheral and night visionTolerate varying conditions of noise level, temperature, illumination and air qualityMust be able to stand for an entire shift and be able to move throughout the Casino/Hotel areasMust be able to work under adverse conditions, including overtime, evenings, weekends, holidays and testify in court on and off dutyContact with team members and customersMust be able to lift/push/pull up to 40 lbsFurther physical requirements include but not limited to; standing, kneeling/crouching, sitting, bending, lifting, grasping/handling and reachingRequirements High school diploma or equivalent requiredPreferred two years' experience in casino security or law enforcement fieldOne-year experience in a supervisory position requiredExcellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills requiredProficient at investigating incidents and report writingBasic arithmetic skills required which include adding, subtracting, dividing and multiplyingComputer related experience required.Must have a valid New Jersey driver's licenseThe ability to effectively communicate in EnglishBenefits Free meal on shiftTraining & DevelopmentHealth Care Plan (Medical, Dental & Vision)Retirement Plan (401k)Life Insurance (Basic, Voluntary & AD&D)Paid Time OffFree Parking#J-18808-Ljbffr
