Operations SupervisorPosition Title: Operations SupervisorLocation: Cincinnati, OH, US, 45201Job Summary: The Operations Supervisor reports directly to the Operations Manager and is responsible for operations and maintenance at the facility. The role requires in-depth knowledge of plant operations including safety, procedures, maintenance protocols, and government regulations. Working hours are 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with potential variations for production demand and occasional weeknight or weekend work.Duties and ResponsibilitiesOversee day‑to‑day operations, including development and management of operational expenses and budgetManage and train plant personnel, including hiring, training, and performance evaluationsMonitor and control the operation of rotating equipment, tanks, vessels, flare, and compressors to ensure safe performance and adherence to SOPsEnsure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulationsMonitor plant performance and implement improvements to enhance operational efficiencyDevelop and enforce Standard Operating ProceduresCoordinate staffing for operations and maintenanceBe available for weekend and after‑hours calls regarding equipment repairs and outagesProvide leadership and sound judgment during recruitment and training of operations staff for a well‑rounded team of professional operatorsKnowledge, Skills and AbilitiesExtensive experience in waste treatment, biomass, or renewable energyProven leadership skillsStrong analytical and problem‑solving abilitiesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong technical knowledge of waste treatment and/or biomass energy systems and equipmentStrong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and SAPEducation and ExperienceBachelor of Science preferredMinimum 5 years of experience in a similar role and industryEqual Opportunity Employer: UGI Energy Services, LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
