Job Overview A law firm seeks an experienced Attorney with a focus on employee benefits and traditional labor to join their team in Sacramento, CA. The ideal candidate will provide legal advice to union clients and handle various stages of litigation, including wage and hour class actions and employee benefits litigation.Duties Provide general and legal advice to union clients.Handle all stages of litigation, including class actions and discrimination cases.Represent unions at grievance arbitration hearings and before administrative agencies.Conduct training sessions for union staff and stewards.Attend Trust Fund client meetings and handle ERISA-related litigation.Defend clients in administrative hearings and court.Requirements Licensed and in good standing in California.3+ years of relevant experience.Strong writing and oral advocacy skills.Detail-oriented with exemplary research and analytical skills.Spanish language skills and/or real estate experience is a plus.Ability to work occasional evenings or weekends.Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree.Certifications California Bar License.Skills Excellent judgment and communication skills.Strong organizational and time management abilities.Motivated self-starter with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.Benefits Participation in a defined benefit pension plan.Annual employer 401(k) contribution equal to 5% of salary.100% employer-paid premiums for health, dental, and vision insurance for employee and dependents.Group life and AD&D insurance.Group Long-Term Disability insurance.Employer-provided cell phone and laptop.Paid holidays.Commuter benefits.Dependent care benefits.Flexible spending account (FSA).Option to participate in a tax-free student loan assistance program.Eligibility for bonuses.#J-18808-Ljbffr
