Location: New YorkPosition OverviewPWX is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Financial Analyst with 1–3 years of experience to join our growing finance team. This role reports to the Director of Finance and offers broad exposure across key financial operations. This person will play a critical part in supporting client billing, payroll and benefits administration, and financial reporting and analysis.The ideal candidate is eager to learn, highly organized, and comfortable collaborating with senior leadership, internal teams, and external clients. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a strong foundation and grow within a dynamic organization.Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Reporting & AnalysisPrepare recurring financial reports and assist with monthly close activitiesAnalyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and insightsSupport budgeting, forecasting, and ad hoc financial analysisHelp improve reporting processes and financial controlsUtilize AI to create efficiencies and support analysisClient Billing, Accounts Receivable & CollectionsSupport the end-to-end client billing process, ensuring accuracy and timelinessMonitor accounts receivable balances and follow up on outstanding invoicesPartner with internal teams and clients to resolve billing discrepanciesAssist in collections efforts and maintain strong client relationshipsWork closely with business development to ensure SOW consistency, flagging renewals and pricing discrepancies, etc.Payroll & HR Benefits SupportAssist with payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with policiesCollaborate with HR and external providers on payroll and benefits-related mattersMaintain confidentiality and accuracy of employee financial dataQualificationsBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field1–3 years of relevant financial, accounting, or analytical experienceStrong proficiency in Excel; experience with financial systems is a plusSolid understanding of financial principles and basic accounting conceptsKey Skills & AttributesStrong attention to detail, problem solving and organizational skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentProactive mindset with a willingness to learn and take on new challengesCollaborative team player with the ability to interact with senior leadership and clientsDesire for professional growth and developmentWhy Join UsOpportunity to gain hands‑on experience across multiple areas of financeExposure to senior leadership and strategic initiativesSupportive environment focused on learning and career growth#J-18808-Ljbffr
