About UncountableScience moves slowly — not because researchers aren't brilliant, but because their tools haven't kept up. Uncountable is changing that. We build a unified R&D platform used by the world's leading chemists, material scientists, and biologists to dramatically accelerate how new products are discovered, developed, and brought to market.Founded by engineers from MIT and Stanford, and trusted by enterprise R&D organizations across chemicals, pharmaceuticals, advanced materials, and food & beverage, Uncountable is on a mission to accelerate industrial R&D by an order of magnitude. We're a high-impact team that moves fast and gives people real ownership from day one.The RoleUncountable's partner network is a critical lever for global growth — but a partner‑led implementation is only as good as the expertise behind it. As a Partner Delivery Manager, you are the person who ensures that every implementation delivered through a certified partner meets the same standard of scientific rigor, data quality, and customer outcome that Uncountable's internal team is known for. This role is closely related to our Scientific Implementation Manager function, with an added dimension: you're not just running implementations yourself — you're raising the capability of an entire partner ecosystem to do so. That means serving as the resident expert partners turn to when configurations get complex, building the training and enablement infrastructure that sets them up for success, and maintaining a quality bar that protects Uncountable's reputation and customer relationships at scale. You'll work directly with both partner teams and end customers, requiring the same scientific fluency, platform depth, and communication skills as our implementation managers — plus the ability to teach, coach, and build systems that work without you in the room. What You'll DoOversee Partner‑Led ImplementationsOwn quality assurance across all partner‑delivered implementations, serving as the final authority on whether configurations meet Uncountable's standards before go‑liveStay closely involved in active partner implementations — reviewing data structures, attending key customer milestones, and stepping in to course‑correct when neededMaintain a clear picture of implementation health across the partner portfolio, identifying risks early and driving resolutionServe as the Expert Resource for PartnersAct as the primary point of escalation for certified delivery partners when they encounter complex scientific data environments, edge‑case configurations, or ambiguous customer requirementsGuide partners through challenging implementations in real time — answering technical and scientific questions, reviewing proposed configurations, and helping them think through trade‑offsBuild deep, trusted relationships with partner teams so they feel supported and confident deploying Uncountable without hand‑holding on every engagementDesign and Configure Complex Scientific WorkflowsDirectly lead or co‑lead implementations for strategic accounts, ensuring the platform is configured in a way that faithfully captures each customer's experimental paradigmMap intricate scientific data structures — multi‑variable formulations, hierarchical sample relationships, linked test methods — onto Uncountable's data modelWork through ambiguous, real‑world data environments (legacy spreadsheets, idiosyncratic naming conventions, non‑standard workflows) and design configurations that are both scientifically accurate and practically usableDevelop and document reusable configuration patterns across domains (coatings, polymers, pharmaceuticals, food science, etc.) that can be distributed across the partner networkBuild Partner Training and EnablementDesign and own Uncountable's partner enablement program — including onboarding curriculum, certification criteria, and ongoing training materials for new and existing partnersDevelop reference documentation, configuration playbooks, and worked examples that give partners the tools to implement confidently and consistentlyRun training sessions, workshops, and shadowing programs that build scientific and platform fluency across the partner ecosystemContinuously iterate on enablement content based on what you see in partner implementations and where gaps emergeDrive Cross‑Functional ImpactAct as the voice of the partner ecosystem internally, surfacing patterns, gaps, and friction points to product and engineering teamsCollaborate with the partnerships team to define what "certified" means — what knowledge, skills, and track record a partner needs to deliver implementations independentlyFeed implementation learnings back into Uncountable's internal playbooks and product roadmapYour First 90 DaysMonth 1: Develop deep platform fluency and learn Uncountable's implementation methodology from the inside, working alongside the internal implementation team on live customer engagements. Map the current state of partner enablement and identify the most critical gaps.Month 2: Begin engaging directly with certified partners — joining their active implementations, answering escalations, and auditing configuration quality. Start drafting the foundation of a structured enablement program based on what you observe.Month 3: Take ownership of the partner enablement program and begin rolling out core training materials. Lead your first partner implementation reviews end‑to‑end, and establish a regular cadence of quality checks and partner check‑ins.RequirementsScientific depth: A meaningful background in chemistry, materials science, biology, chemical engineering, or a closely related field — enough to engage credibly with PhD‑level researchers about their experimental workflows and dataPlatform and configuration expertise: Demonstrated ability to work through complex, real‑world data environments and design structured solutions — whether through prior implementation experience, scientific data management, or equivalent technical problem‑solvingSoftware fluency: Comfort working with scientific or technical software — ELNs, LIMS, instrument software, data analysis tools, or similar. You pick up new tools quickly and aren't intimidated by data‑heavy environmentsCommunication and teaching: Exceptional ability to explain complex ideas clearly to varied audiences — and a genuine ability to build others' capability, not just solve problems yourselfProject and stakeholder management: Comfort managing multiple partner relationships and implementation workstreams simultaneously, with the organizational clarity to keep quality high across all of themAutonomy: Ability to build programs and processes from scratch, navigate ambiguity, and drive outcomes without waiting for a detailed playbookPreferred QualificationsM.S. or Ph.D. in chemistry, materials science, chemical engineering, biology, or a closely related field, plus 2–3 years of post‑degree experience in implementation, technical consulting, or scientific data managementPrior experience in a partner‑facing, channel, or ecosystems role — or in building training and enablement programs in a technical contextHands‑on lab experience — time spent running experiments gives you instant credibility with partners and their customersFamiliarity with data management concepts: structured spreadsheets, databases, ELNs, or LIMSExposure to multiple scientific domains (e.g., organic chemistry and polymer science, or biotech and formulation)Why This RoleBuild something new: Uncountable's partner enablement function is nascent — you'll have real ownership over designing how it works, what good looks like, and how it scalesMultiplied impact: Rather than delivering one implementation at a time, you'll be raising the capability of an entire ecosystem — every partner you enable extends Uncountable's reach to more R&D teams around the worldScientific credibility in a strategic role: This is a rare opportunity to apply genuine scientific expertise in a role with strategic scope — you're not just configuring platforms, you're building the infrastructure that makes partner‑delivered implementations succeedDirect influence on product and partnerships: Your field observations will shape both what Uncountable builds and how the partner program evolvesGlobal reach: As the partner network spans multiple regions, you'll work with teams across Europe, North America, and beyondBenefitsCompetitive base salary with performance bonus and meaningful equityHealth and dental insurance401(k) with employer contribution (US locations)Direct collaboration with Uncountable's implementation, partnerships, and product teams#J-18808-Ljbffr
