Description

Overview The Senior Planning/Scheduling Engineer (EPC) will develop, maintain, and analyze project schedules to support the execution of engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities in EPC projects.Responsibilities Develop, maintain, and analyze project schedules using Primavera P6, including critical path analysis, resource leveling, and schedule compression.Collaborate with engineering, procurement, subcontract, construction, and commissioning teams to create detailed work plans and maintain accurate schedule versions (preliminary, 90‑day lookahead, and master) following company templates.Monitor progress against schedules, identify and report schedule variances, risks, and opportunities, and develop mitigation strategies.Analyze schedule impacts of changes in scope, resources, or priorities; integrate project changes and update forecast.Prepare network logic diagrams, forward and backward pass assessments, and critical path highlights.Collect, validate, and integrate vendor and contractor schedules; perform detailed analysis of their impact on the project schedule.Generate tabular and graphical schedule reports and presentations for stakeholders and project meetings.Coordinate with team members, vendors, and contractors to resolve schedule‑related issues and conflicts, and facilitate project meetings and reviews.Conduct schedule health checks, risk analyses, and provide proactive schedule assessments to the project management team.Qualifications Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field, or 15+ years of experience as a planning/scheduling engineer or project controls specialist in EPC mega projects.Extensive experience with Primavera P6 scheduling software (development, CPM analysis, resource loading, earned value integration).Experience using Deltek Acumen preferred.Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills; ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.Hargrove is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
