At BBX, Instructors own their classroom — there is no lead teacher in the room with you. You'll receive structured onboarding, hands‑on training, and a direct escalation line to BBX leadership when you need it.If you thrive with autonomy and want to build real teaching experience fast, this is your role.What You'll DoLead STEM workshops including coding, robotics, and engineering for K–8 studentsFacilitate hands‑on science activities in chemistry, biology, and applied STEMDeliver targeted tutoring in literacy, math, and STEM for K–12 studentsSupport students with learning differences using positive reinforcement strategiesMaintain a safe, inclusive, high‑energy learning environmentHandle classroom setup, materials, and basic inventoryCommunicate student updates to parents and caregivers as directedAttend team check‑ins and required BBX training sessionsWhat We're Looking ForHigh school diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's in Education, STEM, or related field preferredPrior experience in an educational setting required — tutoring centers (Kumon, Sylvan, etc.), STEM camps, learning academies, or afterschool programs qualifyUnderstanding of Neurodiversity learning needs and supportComfortable managing a classroom independentlyStrong communicator with students, parents, and teammatesReliable, adaptable, and mission‑alignedFamiliarity with FLL, FTC, or robotics competitions is a strong plusHands‑on chemistry or biology project experience is a plusWhat You GetFlexible part‑time schedule or a full time scheduleStructured onboarding and ongoing supportAccess to cutting‑edge STEM tools and curriculumEmployee discounts through ADPA mission‑driven team invested in your growthEQUAL OPPORTUNITYBBX is an equal opportunity employer.
