Leggett & Platt, Inc., is searching for a Staff Accountant within our Corporate Accounting department to help support our business.What will you be doing as a Staff Accountant?Coordination and analysis of financial information for a specified number of domestic and international operating facilitiesDay-to-day contact with division accounting staff, operating managers and other corporate departmentsAnalysis and reconciliation of Balance Sheet and P&L accountsReview of accounting internal controlsAssisting internal and external auditors with analysis and reconciliations of accountsSupporting the preparation of the consolidated financial statements and external reportingTo be successful in this role, you'll need:Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance-related field (a minimum of 9 hrs of accounting is required)Good interpersonal skillsSolid understanding of accounting and strong ability to communicate, both written and verballyExcellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize workAbility to work in a team-based environmentExcellent problem-solving skillsAbility to provide support for other areas of the Company, including finance, tax, credit, information technology, etc. and identify accounting related mattersStrong computer skills with demonstrated strength in ExcelThings we consider a plus:CMA and/or CPA designationMaster's degree in accounting or business administrationCumulative 3.30 GPA and 3.5 GPA in majorExperience with Hyperion Financial Management and/or Microsoft D365Experience in a manufacturing environmentApplicants in the United States:Leggett & Platt Incorporated is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
