Overview Our client in the Dane County area is looking for a Risk Manager with 4+ years of experience, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently. This position is onsite.Base pay range $90,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yrResponsibilities Establish, document, and communicate the organization's risk management policies to ensure compliance with applicable regulations, controls and strategy.Conduct annual Enterprise Risk Assessment and collaborate with senior management to identify, review, and monitor internal risk and control activities and strategies.Oversee the property and casualty insurance procurement process by compiling asset and risk exposure data and evaluating adequacy of insurance policy limits.Provide day-to-day assistance to location/division managers relating to credit terms, customer payment information and safety/insurance claims prevention and mitigation.Document the effectiveness of internal controls, policies, and practices in areas such as fraud prevention, damage to physical assets, business interruption, etc.Evaluate risk levels of contracts; specifically, the purchase/sale of commodities and insurance.Manage, enforce and promote the company's credit & collection policies and practices to improve write-offs and bad debt recoveries to ensure credit exposure is within limits.Experience required Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or business or related work experience.4+ years of corporate risk and insurance management, risk control, business analysis, finance, or related work experience.Excellent listening, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills with attention to detail.High understanding of internal controls and adherence to established procedures.Ability to manage projects independently and within a team.Strong desktop skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and CRM).Equal Opportunity Equal Opportunity Employer#J-18808-Ljbffr
