Community and Brand Experience CoordinatorInternshipWe're looking for a creative, outgoing, and driven individual to join our team as a Community & Brand Experience Coordinator for our Tri-state real estate portfolio! In this role, you'll help plan and execute events at our properties, build local business partnerships, and create engaging social media content that brings our brand to life. If you love events, connecting with people, and telling stories through content — this one's for you. This is a full-time summer internship based in NY and will require travel to Tri-state area properties including Westchester, Greenwich, and Port Imperial, NJ.Role overviewAker originates, invests in, and operates businesses across the real estate ecosystem, compounding capital through a disciplined, system-led operating platform. Aker is looking for a driven, creative, and outgoing intern to join its property management team and help grow our brand presence and bring our communities to life through events and partnerships. This is a ground-level opportunity to make a real impact — you'll be out in the community building relationships, helping plan and execute events at our properties, and creating content that showcases who we are.Events Planning & ExecutionAssist in planning, organizing, and executing events hosted at our propertiesConfirm supplies, materials, and logistics ahead of each eventCoordinate with vendors and partners to ensure smooth event executionAttend select events to support on-the-ground setup and operationsCommunity & Partnership OutreachProactively visit local businesses to introduce our brand and build mutually beneficial partnershipsIdentify sponsorship and co-hosting opportunities with local organizations and businessesServe as a brand ambassador in the community, representing our company with professionalism and enthusiasmBrand & Social MediaHelp develop and maintain a consistent posting schedule and content calendarCapture behind-the-scenes and event content at our propertiesPhotograph resident events to document community moments and create shareable contentStay current on social media trends to keep our brand voice fresh and relevantQualificationsCurrently enrolled in (or a recent graduate of) a program in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality, Business, or related fieldOutgoing personality with strong communication and interpersonal skillsComfortable approaching and building relationships with local businesses and vendorsCreative eye for photo and video contentFamiliarity with Instagram, TikTok, and other social platformsHighly organized with strong attention to detailFlexible availability, including some evenings and weekends for select eventsAccess to reliable transportation (required for local outreach)What You'll GainReal-world experience in events, community outreach, and brand buildingMentorship and direct exposure to the property management industryNetworking opportunities with local businesses and community leaders#J-18808-Ljbffr
