STS Technical Services is hiring Production Supervisors in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin. This position utilizes staff and equipment to meet safety, quality, productivity and customer satisfaction goals.This is a 1st shift position.Supervisor FunctionsSupport department initiatives and continuous improvement efforts that align with company strategy and key performance metricsSolve day-to-day issues and elevate challenges to management in the areas of safety, quality, production, personnel and resource availability, including technology, financial and physical resourcesGather and deliver information in a timely manner while ensuring communication is understood by all direct reportsProvide constructive feedback to subordinates and hold employees accountableProvide feedback to manager for performance reviews as neededLead by example and demonstrate the company's core values of expertise, passion, agility and entrepreneurshipTreat all levels of the organization with respect, honesty and integrity while supporting diversity, inclusion, compliance and employee safetyShop Floor ManagementMaintain responsibility for Level 4 boards, employee position map and quality and delivery issuesDirect resources to meet daily production goalsProduction Assembly and ProjectsUtilize production scheduling tools to direct and maintain daily operationsPartner with Project Managers to provide oversight on all phases of assigned projectsCoordinate and collaborate with multiple departments to ensure project specifications are followedEnsure quality standards are followed and address deviationsQuality and Continuous ImprovementPerform line audits for quality, standard work, safety and basic conditionProvide training for standard work and matrix updatesMaintain responsibility for One Point Lessons and I5'sProvide Team Member support on other continuous improvement projects within the assigned area of responsibilityReportingUtilize company systems to complete organizational tracking and reportingMake necessary improvement recommendations to managementEnsure work instructions, processes and procedures are followed as defined by the companyAddress and resolve production issues to minimize production line downtimeAccurately enter, review, approve and submit timekeeping for direct reports by defined deadlinesUnion Contract AdministrationUnderstand and administer the collective bargaining agreementProvide recommendations for contract changesUse management skills to prevent and/or settle conflicts before they escalate through grievance stagesSafetyProvide assistance in support of the safety strategy to reduce work-related injuriesConduct safety meetings and perform audits to help maintain the goal of zero lost time accidentsPromote a safe working environmentPerform all job functions safely and maintain safety awarenessReport known accidents, injuries and unsafe practices or conditions to the safety managerQualifications and PrerequisitesAssociate's Degree in a Manufacturing program requiredBachelor's Degree preferredMinimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment requiredFive years of supervisory experience and union contract administration preferredExcellent verbal, written and public speaking skillsStrong conflict resolution, problem‑solving and interpersonal skillsProficient computer skills including Word, Excel and PowerPointAuthorizationCandidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States.Equal Opportunity StatementSTS Technical Services is an equal opportunity employer.#J-18808-Ljbffr
