Layer Health's diverse founding team brings expertise across machine learning, UI/UX, large language models, and medicine.Job DescriptionWe're hiring an experienced Site Reliability Engineer for our Boston or NYC office!You can expect to:Design, build, and maintain resilient, scalable, and secure infrastructure to support critical healthcare applications.Develop and implement automation for provisioning, scaling, monitoring, and security of cloud‑native systems.Collaborate closely with engineering teams to optimize system performance, reliability, and developer workflows.Lead incident response, root cause analysis, and postmortem processes to ensure continuous improvement.Cultivate a robust engineering and product culture that drives the company forward.We look for:5‑7+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineering roles, preferably in cloud‑native environments (we run on GCP).Expertise in IaC tooling (e.g., Terraform, Helm), CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes, and monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana).Proficiency in one or more scripting/programming languages such as Python, Go, or Bash.A strong communicator who thrives in a customer‑focused, fast‑paced environment.A proactive problem‑solver with a strong sense of ownership and the ability to work independently.An excited and adaptable team player who wants to disrupt the healthcare industry with AI/ML, alongside an awesome team.We expect engineers to meet regularly in‑person in our Boston or NYC offices.Join us and help us transform healthcare with AI.Layer Health is committed to fostering an environment of inclusion that is free from discrimination.
