Description

ResponsibilitiesMust maintain a strong safety record and adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues on diesel trucks and heavy equipment.Perform preventative maintenance and scheduled service work.Repair or replace defective components including engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, and fuel systems.Utilize diagnostic software and tools to troubleshoot equipment issues.Complete work orders accurately and document repairs in maintenance systems.Inspect equipment to identify potential issues and recommend corrective action.Maintain clean and organized work areas, tools, and equipment.Respond to breakdowns and emergency repair situations as needed.Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.Skill RequirementsStrong knowledge of diesel engines, heavy trucks, trailers, and related systems required.Experience with hydraulic, electrical, and air brake systems preferred.Ability to read and interpret service manuals, schematics, and technical documentation.Proficient with diagnostic tools and computerized maintenance systems.Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to work independently.Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with team members.Must supply personal mechanic tools (specialty tools provided by company as applicable).Valid driver's license required; CDL preferred or ability to obtain.#J-18808-Ljbffr
