The ideal candidate will also have experience or familiarity with Position, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) systems. In this role, the engineer will participate in the full systems engineering lifecycle, ensuring rigorous technical development, traceability, and compliance across complex system architectures.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, decompose, and derive system and subsystem requirementsLead and perform system verification planning, test case development, and verification executionEnsure requirements traceability using systems engineering tools such as DOORS or equivalentCollaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware, software, and integration engineersSupport design reviews, technical analyses, and risk assessmentsContribute to architecture development and system modeling, as neededProvide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineersEngage in problem-solving and troubleshooting during development and integration phasesSupport PNT-related system design, algorithm understanding, or integration tasks (desired)Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related discipline7+ years of experience in systems engineering or a closely related fieldDemonstrated Experience In Requirements Derivation, Development, And ManagementProven expertise in system verification and validationExperience with systems engineering tools (DOORS, Cameo, or similar)Strong communication and technical documentation skillsAbility to work independently and collaboratively in multi-disciplinary teamsDesired QualificationsExperience with PNT technologies (GPS, IMU/INS, timing solutions, sensor fusion, etc.)Experience with model-based systems engineering (MBSE)Advanced degree in a relevant engineering disciplineFamiliarity with military, aerospace, or guidance/navigation systemsExperience in integration and test environments, especially for mission-critical systems#J-18808-Ljbffr
