Our approach is rooted in evidence‑based practices, and our team of highly trained professionals is dedicated to providing individualized care for every client.Behavioral Assistant (BA)Neuropath Behavioral Healthcare provides comprehensive therapeutic support services designed to address a wide range of emotional, behavioral, and developmental challenges. Our approach is rooted in evidence‑based practices, and our team of highly trained professionals is dedicated to providing individualized care for every client.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide support in the home and community to both youth and caregiversImplement treatment plansDeliver services as directed by the supervising therapist, including:Using evidence-based interventions and positive reinforcementAssist parents/guardians with treatment plan implementationCollect, track, and report progression or regression (including graphs when required)Submit accurate weekly clinical progress notes within 24 hours of service provisionAssist with caregiver/staff training under the guidance of a supervising therapist.Recognize, prevent, and intervene in crisis situations appropriatelyParticipate in required training and maintain compliance with all agency policiesRequired Skills & AbilitiesStrong active listening, critical thinking, and communication skillsCompassion, patience, and adaptabilityAbility to work independently and collaborativelyPositive leadership and role modeling for youth and familiesReliability and attentiveness with strong organizational skillsKnowledge of evidence-based interventions for behavioral/developmental disabilitiesQualificationsMust complete the NJ CSOC Behavioral Assistant Certification within 6 months of hireBachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field2–4 years of experience in behavioral healthcare, preferably working with children with developmental/intellectual disabilities or mental illnessValid New Jersey Driver's LicenseMust pass all state and federal background checksA pre-employment, post conditional job offer drug screen is required for this role.Bilingual candidates (especially Spanish-speaking) encouraged to apply.Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future visa sponsorship.
