About the Role At EōS, our Personal Training Manager (PTM) plays a key leadership role in select high-volume gyms, helping guide and grow our personal training team every day. Reporting to the Fitness Manager—and working closely with our Sr. Director of PT Experience—the PTM is the go-to leader for ensuring our trainers deliver top‑notch service and build strong relationships with members. This role focuses on coaching trainers, supporting their development, creating a positive environment that drives client satisfaction, retention, and results, and keeping the gym running smoothly and successfully.Responsibilities Serve as the owner/operator of the day‑to‑day management of the personal training staffServe as the key business partner to the Fitness Manager on day‑to‑day management of the personal training businessDrive the team to meet or exceed all established PT targets each monthLead the team to deliver high‑value PT orientation sessions that maximize new client acquisition and increase overall PT penetrationProactively identify and operationalize opportunities to grow and improve the business of the personal training departmentOversee and improve the EōS personal training experience to drive revenue growth and client retentionOwn the end‑to‑end management of the trainer lifecycle, from sourcing to hiring, onboarding, in‑club training, development, and ongoing performance managementLead the ongoing trainer coaching and development through regularly scheduled individual and team meetingsMinimize trainer turnover and increase personal trainer tenure through ongoing coaching, development, and supportQualifications At least one year as an EōS personal trainer for internal candidates (or at least one year of verifiable managerial experience for external candidates)At (or equivalent to) an L2 or Master Coach level as an EōS personal trainerEnthusiastic about developing teams through education and coachingComfortable being held accountable (and holding others accountable) for achieving established performance goals and company KPIsExcellent communicator with a high level of emotional intelligenceOrganized, detail‑oriented initiative‑taker who can meet deadlinesRequirements Must successfully pass background checkMust carry valid Personal Training CertificationCPR certification required within 30 days of hireAbility to work in a gym setting; move about club floors and rooms; communicate with employees, members, and the publicAbility to bend routinely and repetitively to lift more than 40 lbsAbility to access and operate company computer systems including preparing documents, entering data into computer systems, reading reports from a computer database or email systemCompensation Plan Competitive base salary + bonus opportunityAbility to train 5 paid client session hours per weekSalary Pay Range: $60,000 - $60,000 USDBenefits and Perks A highly energetic and collaborative teamA management team that cares about your professional developmentFree membership for you and plus one family memberDiscounted personal training, and merchandise—including supplementsEmployee referral programDaily Pay offered—access your funds before paydayCompetitive pay plus vacation, holiday, and sick pay*Group health, dental, vision, supplemental life, and employee assistance program are offered!*401(k) + company matching!*Personal education growth options with Sophia Learning* based on eligibility of tenure and full‑time vs part‑time employment.Equal Opportunity Employment EōS Fitness is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
