Takes initiative to participate in training and developing opportunities to prepare for current and future challenges.Role(s): The Quality Assurance Specialist is responsible for managing warranty and dealership claims, analyzing failure trends, and driving corrective actions to reduce customer returns and improve product reliability. This role uses PPM metrics to monitor quality performance and collaborates with internal teams and OEMs to ensure compliance with automotive standards and customer expectations.Responsibilities Supports the Quality Assurance Team through developing and implementing programs to improve quality, preventing downtime and reporting.Receive, inspect, and analyze returned parts from OEM customer.Analyze returned parts and failure modes to determine root causes.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine root causes and corrective actions.Use statistical tools to analyze trends and identify areas for improvement.Maintain accurate records of claim data and warranty trendsProvide daily reports to Management of Quality Assurance.Review and analyze data for KAGA field warranty claims to determine responsibility and meet with KAGA QA department on a regular basis to resolve issues.Analyze and review warranty and field claims activities and reports.Develop and implement program/activities to improve field warranty claim issues.Track and report PPM metrics for KIA programs.Monitor claim cost trends and identify high-impact issues.Follow all safety rules and PPE requirementsOther tasks as assigned.Qualifications Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:Experience: 0-3 yearsEducation: Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS)Degree Field: Engineering, Quality or related fieldEquivalent Experience/Education: 3+ years of experience in the automotive/manufacturing industryCommunication Skills: IntermediateForeign Language Required: No. If yes, what language?
