About the Company South Carolina Legal Services is a statewide law firm that provides civil legal services to protect the rights and represent the interests of low-income South Carolinians.About the Role and Responsibilities Provide a wide range of civil legal representation, advocacy and outreach to low-income individuals. Civil litigation will primarily be in the areas of housing, federal income tax, family law, consumer, education, elder law, and public benefits though the attorney may work in other priority areas of law depending on client needs. Litigation experience plus experience with a broad range of other advocacy tools and community education presentations, is strongly preferred.Participation in outreach activities is required.
