The technician performs job duties independently with limited supervision and provides mentoring and assistance to Vehicle Technician C's as needed.Knowledge, Skills & AbilitiesBasic welding and cutting torch operation skillsBasic electrical, mechanical diagnostics, and repair skillsUnderstanding of tire inflation systemsKnowledge and ability to mount and dismount tiresBasic diagnostic tool skillsAbility to schedule and prioritize daily tasksMust adhere to company uniform and appearance standardsProfessional and appropriate interaction with internal and external customersAbility to comprehend and follow verbal and written instructions for tools, equipment, machinery, and materials used to power, hand, diagnostic tools operate material handling equipmentMust be capable of driving company equipment including class 8 tractorsMust be able to work a flexible schedule and vary start and finish times, possibly including weekends and holidaysBasic computer skillsEach technician needs to provide their own toolsMinimum QualificationsMust be at least 18 years oldHigh school diploma or GEDKnowledge acquired through 3–5 years of relevant work experienceD.O.T.
