Job Description Job DescriptionA well-established Personal Injury law firm located in Downtown Manhattan is seeking a dedicated Workers' Compensation Attorney with at least 3 years of experience handling New York workers' compensation cases. This role involves managing cases from intake through resolution while providing expert representation and legal counsel to clients in a fully in-office environment.Responsibilities Manage a caseload of New York workers' compensation matters from intake through resolutionRepresent clients at hearings, depositions, and trials before the Workers' Compensation BoardDevelop case strategy, including evaluating claims, negotiating settlements, and preparing for litigationCommunicate regularly with clients, medical providers, and insurance carriersDraft legal documents, including motions, pleadings, and settlement agreementsStay current on New York workers' compensation laws and regulationsRequired Qualifications JD from an accredited law schoolActive New York bar admissionMinimum of 3 years of New York workers' compensation experience (plaintiff-side preferred)Strong knowledge of NY Workers' Compensation Board proceduresExcellent negotiation, litigation, and communication skillsAbility to manage a high-volume caseload in a fast-paced environment#J-18808-Ljbffr
