My asset management client is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical professional to join the Equity Derivatives Middle Office team, with a primary focus on autocallable structured products . This role sits between Front Office trading desks and Back Office operations, ensuring trade integrity, risk transparency, and lifecycle management across complex equity-linked derivatives.Key ResponsibilitiesTrade Support & ControlValidate and enrich equity derivatives trades with a focus on autocallable structures (e.g., Phoenix, Athena, Snowball)Ensure accuracy of trade capture in booking systems and resolve discrepancies with Front OfficePerform daily controls on trade populations, cash flows, and event schedulesLifecycle ManagementMonitor and manage lifecycle events for autocallables:Coupon paymentsAutocall trigger observationsMaturity/redemption processingCoordinate with structuring, trading, and operations teams to ensure correct event processingAnalyze daily PnL and explain drivers, including market moves, time decay, and event impactsMonitor key risk sensitivities (Greeks) and escalate unusual movementsSupport risk reporting related to structured products and equity derivatives portfoliosReconciliation & Break ResolutionPerform front-to-back reconciliations (trades, positions, cash)Investigate and resolve breaks with internal stakeholders and external counterpartiesEnsure timely resolution of exceptions and proper documentationClient & Stakeholder InteractionAct as a point of contact for sales, trading, structuring, and operations teamsSupport client queries related to autocallable product performance and lifecycle eventsLiaise with external parties (custodians, counterparties) as neededProcess Improvement & AutomationIdentify inefficiencies in workflows and propose automation solutionsContribute to system enhancements for structured product booking and monitoringDevelop tools (e.g., Excel, Python) to improve controls and reportingRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Finance, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, or related fieldMinimum of 5 years of experience in equity derivatives middle officeStrong understanding of autocallable products and structured equity derivativesFamiliarity with lifecycle events and payoff structures of equity-linked notesTechnical SkillsExperience with trading/risk systems (e.g., Murex, Calypso, or similar)Basic programming knowledge (Python or SQL preferred)Understanding of derivatives pricing concepts and Greeks#J-18808-Ljbffr
