Job Description
MUST BE LOCAL to Newark, NJ area...NOT REMOTE - hybrid 2 days in office
Responsibilities:
- Maintenance and support of existing Natural systems
- Enhancements to existing code base
- Analysis of existing code and enhancement request to implement modifications
- Adherence to coding standards and procedures
- Tests enhancements to coding changes
- Writing program specifications and documentation
- On-call for occasional off-hours production troubleshooting
- Modification of JCL for production changes
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Natural/Adabas
- Proficiency in TSO MVS JCL
- Working experience on Predict(Mainframe)
- Ability to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing to IT and non-IT staff
- Skilled in systems analysis
- Skilled in testing theory and procedures
- Ability to analyze and formulate solutions to complex problems
- Ability to design and recommend efficient solutions to requests
- Meets the requirements of the set time schedule
- Six years of experience in Natural/Adabas programming
