Job OverviewWe have a great opportunity for a motivated, detail‑oriented, proactive person to join our team as a Fabricator/Welder. You will work alongside an experienced fabrication team in building custom work trucks for the construction industry. This team customizes pre‑built service bodies and builds custom projects from scratch, using primarily steel but sometimes aluminum. The focus is on quality and long‑term employee growth.ResponsibilitiesCutting and cleaning metals for current projects; safely use cutoff wheel, angle grinder, and other metalworking tools.Using a band saw and plasma cutter (training provided if needed).Setting up projects: laying out metal, drilling holes, dry‑fitting components, marking, punching, and drilling accurately.Reading and interpreting production drawings, build sheets, and pictures with high precision.Operating overhead crane and tow motor with confidence (training provided).MIG welding as required.Operating large vehicles and heavy equipment comfortably.Maintaining clean and organized shop area; working safely 100% of the time.Communicating effectively and collaborating with team members for long‑term employment.QualificationsAt least 2 years of experience working in a shop environment.Strong work ethic, mechanical aptitude, and sharp attention to detail and organization.Reliability, critical thinking, and problem‑solving skills.Consistent work history and a proactive approach to seeking and completing work.Comfortable operating large tow motor/forklift and large trucks.Bonus PointsFormer military service.Trade school certifications.Truck equipment experience.BenefitsUniforms provided.Weekly pay.First shift: Monday – Friday.$9 per week healthcare stipend.Paid vacation.401(k) match.Long‑term employment.Dental insurance.Flexible schedule.Health insurance.Paid time off.Vision insurance.In‑person work location.Job TypeFull‑time.#J-18808-Ljbffr
