ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESRecruitment & StaffingManage full-cycle recruiting for hourly manufacturing positionsPartner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and job requirementsPost job openings on internal and external platformsScreen resumes and conduct initial candidate interviewsCoordinate interviews with hiring managersMaintain a pipeline of qualified candidates to meet ongoing staffing demandsTrack recruiting metrics and provide regular updates on hiring progressNew Hire Orientation & OnboardingFacilitate new hire orientation sessions for hourly employeesEnsure completion of all onboarding paperwork and compliance requirementsEducate new hires on company policies, procedures, and safety expectationsCoordinate pre-employment steps including background checks and drug screeningsEnsure smooth transition from onboarding to trainingMaintain accurate employee records and onboarding documentationHR SupportServe as a point of contact for employee questions related to onboarding and policiesAssist with maintaining HR systems and employee dataSupport HR initiatives and programs as neededEnsure compliance with applicable labor laws and company policiesSupervisory ResponsibilitiesThis job has no supervisory responsibilities.QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily, stay up to date with employment laws, maintain confidential information, and work well in a team environment. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Strong communication skills to be able to effectively communicate with management and applicants.Technical SkillsProficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel. Experience with HR Software for onboarding and recruiting preferred (Applicant Tracking System, ATS); detail oriented with timely follow-up skills.Mathematical SkillsAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.Reasoning AbilityAbility to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. The pace of this job is very fast and requires flexibility and solid decision-making capabilities.
