Senior Counsel – Litigation (Los Angeles) Our client is seeking a Senior Counsel to join their Los Angeles office. This role is ideal for a seasoned litigator and strong legal writer who is highly motivated, proactive, and comfortable managing matters independently.The successful candidate will play a hands‑on role across all phases of litigation, including discovery, motion practice, mediation, and trial, while maintaining a strong client‑facing presence. This position also includes mentoring and supervising junior team members.Key Responsibilities Manage a caseload of approximately 10–20 active mattersInvestigate claims and develop strategic case‑handling approachesDraft and respond to written discoveryReview and analyze documents for productionConduct legal research using WestlawTake and defend depositionsDraft pleadings and motions and argue motions in courtAttend hearings and court appearancesDraft pre‑trial and trial materialsPrepare cases for mediation and trial and actively participate in bothProvide clear, timely, and effective reporting to clientsManage and supervise associates and paralegalsEssential Skills & Experience Admission to the California Bar (required)Extensive experience handling all aspects of litigationExceptional legal writing, analytical, and communication skillsStrong oral advocacy and courtroom presenceExcellent interpersonal and leadership skillsProven ability to manage multiple matters and prioritize competing deadlinesAbility to quickly identify, assess, and resolve legal issuesWhy Join Our Client?
