Hourly Pay Range$24.75 - $38.36 – The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.Position HighlightsPosition: Registered Nurse School ProgramLocation: Will be assigned to 2 schoolsPart-Time: 20 hours/weekHours: Will work Tuesday, Thursday, and Fridays: 7:45am - 3:45pm, no weekends or holidays.Anticipated Start DateWednesday, August 5thWhat you will doDemonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of patients served. This includes knowledge of the physical and psychological needs of patients served and the ability to respond appropriately to those needs.Assumes responsibility for the care of a student or staff member who has suffered an injury or sudden illness.Maintains up to date health records on all students according to state compliance guidelines and school policy.Administers and monitors medications and/or prescribed medical treatment given to any student while attending school.Assumes responsibilities for identification and referral of any students with medical, dental, healthcare needs. Consults with parents, school personnel, physician and other agencies as needed.Advises on exclusion and readmission of students with infectious diseases.Provides health and wellness programs for students as requested by staff.Proves in services and advises staff on health needs.Makes home visits to observe student and family as needed.Conducts school health screenings to include vision and hearing.
