To support and strengthen the company's Enterprise Risk Management framework, the full-time State Licensed Risk Management AVP will lead model risk management and validation efforts, provide independent risk oversight, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a remote work environment.Key responsibilitiesSupport the development and continuous improvement of the Enterprise Risk Management framework and assess key enterprise risksLead independent validations of actuarial, financial, and risk management models while ensuring compliance with risk management policiesPrepare and present risk assessments and validation findings to management and regulatory stakeholdersRequired qualificationsBachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Economics, or a related quantitative disciplineASA, FSA, CFA, FRM, or equivalent professional designation10+ years of progressive experience in life insurance, actuarial, risk management, or related functionsDemonstrated expertise in actuarial modeling, valuation, and capital managementStrong knowledge of life insurance and annuity products, along with experience presenting findings to senior leadership
