Leading a dynamic team, the full-time Colorado Licensed Nursing Simulation Director will oversee the Interprofessional Simulation and Skills Hub, managing operations, finances, and educational initiatives while collaborating with faculty and community stakeholders to enhance simulation-based learning across the College of Health and Human Sciences.Key responsibilitiesManage day-to-day operations of the Interprofessional Simulation and Skills Hub, ensuring high-quality simulation learning activitiesTeach and facilitate simulation-based education, providing mentorship and support to faculty and staff in alignment with course outcomesLead research initiatives and grant pursuits to advance simulation education and maintain accreditation standardsRequired qualificationsMaster's degree in nursing, healthcare, education, or a closely related field from a regionally accredited institutionCertified Healthcare Simulation Educator (CHSE) certificate, or ability to obtain within two years of hireActive, unrestricted Colorado RN license or eligibility for Colorado licensure by endorsement at the time of hireExperience leading or coordinating healthcare simulation programs in an academic or healthcare education settingMinimum of five years of clinical practice experience as a registered nurse
