To support efficient patient care, the part-time Iowa Licensed Sleep Technologist will accurately review and score sleep study data remotely, collaborating with sleep physicians to ensure timely completion of high-quality reports.Key responsibilitiesReview, analyze, and score sleep studies according to AASM guidelines and departmental standardsDocument sleep stages, respiratory events, and other significant findings while maintaining high-quality standardsCommunicate effectively with physicians and staff regarding study concerns and complete scoring within productivity expectationsRequired qualificationsAssociate's or bachelor's degree in Polysomnography, Respiratory Therapy, or related fieldCertification as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) requiredKnowledge of current AASM scoring rules and sleep study protocolsDemonstrated competency in scoring polysomnography studiesPrior training in a related health profession is preferred
