To support a growing digital marketing agency, the full-time remote Accountant will manage client accounts receivable, prepare financial reports, and maintain the general ledger while ensuring timely project delivery and adherence to financial regulations.Key responsibilities:Manage client accounts receivable, including coding invoices, reconciling accounts, and overseeing collectionsPrepare monthly balance sheets, income statements, and profit and loss statements while maintaining the general ledgerAssist with annual audits and file required tax forms with federal, state, and local agenciesRequired qualifications:Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or universityAt least 5 years of accounting experience, with extensive knowledge of financial and cost accountingProficiency in accounting software, including a minimum of 1 year experience with QuickBooks and NetSuiteStrong understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)Familiarity with project management in a creative agency environment
