Owning customer issues end-to-end, the full-time remote Technical Customer Engineer will troubleshoot complex problems related to Harness security, feature management, and code coverage products while collaborating with engineering and product teams to ensure quick resolutions.Key responsibilitiesDebug failures across integrations, APIs, and runtime environments, using observability tools to identify root causesEngage directly with customers via calls to troubleshoot issues and set clear expectations throughout the resolution processCollaborate with Engineering and Product teams to escalate issues and document solutions for team knowledge sharingRequired qualifications2+ years in a technical role involving hands-on troubleshooting, such as engineering, DevOps, SRE, or QAStrong debugging instincts with the ability to analyze logs, configurations, and API responsesFamiliarity with CI/CD concepts and tooling, understanding pipeline structures and failure tracingProficiency in at least one scripting language (Python, Node.js, Bash, etc.) for automation tasksComfortable communicating technical progress clearly to both engineers and managers during customer interactions
