Patients of all ages may require therapy and care. It is important that our clinical staff accurately determine the therapy needs for each patient and that they provide that care properly, pleasantly and efficiently. Our Therapy Services Supervisor ensures the patient care meets quality standards, runs smoothly, and addresses each individual patient's needs accurately.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

  • Split position between Franciscan Health Lafayette East/Inpatient & YMCA Lafayette/Outpatient
  • Support clinical staff in determining therapy needs for each patient, monitor productivity, coordinate inventory and supply needs, and track data.
  • Assist with coordination of department procedures and processes and interact with all other therapy departments and outside referral sources.
  • Assist with interviewing and make recommendations for new hires.
  • Audit current care and practice to achieve high-quality patient care outcomes.
  • Monitor cost accounting, productivity and charging systems for assigned areas.
  • Participate in the development implementation and evaluation of age-appropriate standards of care for assigned areas.
  • Investigates, evaluates, and resolves concerns of customers and keeps the next level of management informed of significant developments.
  • Communicates with patients and family members or other support, and documents understanding of treatment plan and goals.
Qualifications
  • Required Bachelor's Degree Physical Therapy Occupational therapy or Speech therapy
  • Required Master's Degree Physical Therapy Occupational therapy or Speech therapy or Doctorate
  • 3 years Clinical experience Required
  • 2 years Leadership experience Preferred
  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) - American Heart Association
  • Physical Therapist (PT) - State Licensing Board
  • Occupational Therapist (OT) - State Licensing Board
  • Speech Pathologist (SPE) - State Licensing Board
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) - ASHA (American Speech-Lanuage-Hearing Association) for Speech Language Pathologists
  • Certified as required by specialization - .
