Job Title: School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Location: Richmond, VA Position Type: Full-Time Contract Duration: 2026-2027 School Year Position Overview:We are seeking a passionate and collaborative Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students in the Richmond, Virginia area for the 2026-2027 school year. This full-time, school-based role focuses on helping students improve communication skills essential for academic achievement and social development. Key Responsibilities:
Provide speech and language therapy services in accordance with IEP goals
Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal development
Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with state and federal guidelines
Support students with a variety of communication disorders, including articulation, language, fluency, and pragmatics
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Active Virginia SLP license (or ability to obtain prior to start date)
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred
School-based or pediatric experience preferred
Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
