Job Summary: Outpatient Radiation Therapist provides radiation therapy services to patients, delivering treatment plans in accordance with physician orders and safety standards. This role requires ARRT-T and TRT certification to administer prescribed treatment while supporting patient comfort and treatment adherence.

This role requires ARRT-T and TRT certification to administer prescribed treatment while supporting patient comfort and treatment adherence.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver prescribed radiation therapy treatments using approved protocols and treatment plan parameters.
- Position and prepare patients for treatment, confirming correct setup and immobilization devices.
- Coordinate with the clinical team to ensure accurate daily treatment delivery and documentation.
- Apply radiation safety practices, including proper use of shielding and adherence to departmental procedures.
- Monitor patients during treatment, reporting changes in condition or concerns to the supervising provider.
- Hold ARRT-T (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Radiation Therapy) certification.
- Hold TRT (Therapeutic Radiologic Technology) certification.
- Maintain current CPR/BLS certification (or equivalent such as HS-BLS/RQI-BLS).
- Possess a fluoroscopy permit from the state of practice (preferred where applicable).
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of radiation therapy principles, patient positioning, and treatment documentation.
- Build clinical expertise through collaboration with multidisciplinary care teams in an outpatient setting.
- Strengthen professional development with ongoing training opportunities in radiation safety and treatment delivery.
- Support career progression by maintaining and advancing specialty credentials and competencies.
