Certified Medical Assistant

Aspire Rural Health System is hiring a Certified Medical Assistant. We're looking for individuals with a positive attitude to join our dedicated team of healthcare professionals committed to delivering the highest quality of service to both our patients and employees.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in a physician's office
  • CMA, CCMA, or RMA is preferred
  • Great attitude and engages patients with a smile
  • Team player and problem solver
  • Ability to interact positively and proactively at all levels of the organization and with all physicians

Responsibilities:

  • Perform a variety of patient care related tasks such as rooming patients, obtaining vital signs, and assisting the provider as necessary
  • Use of our EMR system, registering patients, insurance verification, scanning medical records, phoning patients with results and proper medical documentation
  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment while providing quality patient care to all ages while maintaining patient confidentiality
