- Prepare and post journal entries and maintain accurate financial records
- Perform bank and account reconciliations to ensure data integrity
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes

- Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as needed
- Assist with tax preparation and compliance tasks including payroll and sales tax
- Analyze financial data and identify discrepancies or improvement opportunities
- Public accounting experience is REQUIRED
- Hands-on experience with QuickBooks (REQUIRED)
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Proven experience with general ledger, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes
- High attention to detail with excellent organizational and analytical skills
- Experience in a CPA firm or client-facing accounting environment
- Exposure to tax preparation and multi-client accounting support
- Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with additional accounting systems
- Self-starter who thrives in a deadline-driven environment
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy
