Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - In-House If you've worked as an SLP in skilled nursing and felt like the documentation, the productivity standards, and the pressure to see one more patient were pulling you away from the reason you became a speech pathologist - this role is intentionally different. We are an in-house, family-owned therapy organization - not a contract therapy company. Our SLPs are given the clinical space to do what they were trained to do - evaluate, treat, and genuinely change the lives of the residents in their care. Why Therapists Choose Sprenger Therapy
In-house therapy model - your clinical decisions serve your residents, not a contract company's bottom line
Your clinical scope is respected - dysphagia, cognitive, and communication, the work you trained for
Autonomy is valued - your judgment guides the care plan
Interdisciplinary collaboration - you work alongside PT, OT, and nursing as an equal voice in the care team
Stable, family-oriented culture - leadership is present, accessible, and invested in your success
Care decisions guided by outcomes and patient needs - not short-term volume
Our therapy teams operate differently - and it shows in our retention and culture. What You'll Do
Evaluate and treat residents with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with residents, families, and the interdisciplinary care team
Conduct dysphagia evaluations and make evidence-based diet and intervention recommendations
Provide cognitive-linguistic therapy to support functional independence and quality of life
Collaborate with PT, OT, nursing, and dietary to ensure coordinated, whole-person care
Document clearly and efficiently in support of quality outcomes
What We're Looking For
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
Current SLP license or license-eligible
Experience with dysphagia evaluation and treatment preferred
Commitment to patient-first, outcomes-driven care
Clinical Fellowship candidates encouraged to apply - mentorship and supervision provided
