Samaritan Hospital is seeking a locum Psychiatrist for their Adult Inpatient Unit starting as soon as credentialed!
  • The unit we would be brining a locum to is our general adult behavioral health unit= 30 beds split between 2 physicians (15ppd per provider)
  • 63 beds
  • On the inpatient side, there are 4 inpatient physicians (and the 1 opening)
  • The outpatient side at full staffing will be 5 physicians and 3 APPs
  • EMR: EPIC
  • Safety/Security Measures: 24/7 security guards at hospital. all staff attend codes.
  • The only time a psychiatrist would see a child is in the crisis unit (only when on weekend call), the child is then evaluated and transferred to an adolescent facility (if admitted).
  • Facility can credential within 4 weeks!
  • Will reimburse for travel.

Requirement description :
  • Board Certified - Required
  • ACLS - Required
  • NY License at the time of submission - Required
  • Clean background due to quick credentialing - Required
