We are currently seeking an attorney to join our growing Employment Law department. We represent employees and focus on illegal treatment related to medical leave and FMLA; discrimination based on race, religion, gender, age, disability, national origin, or pregnancy; sexual harassment; overtime and wage disputes; and executive compensation. The Attorney will be responsible for representing clients and providing legal advice and counsel in employment discrimination and wage and hour cases. The attorney will be expected to work cases from the start to finish including pre-litigation and trial. This includes, conducting legal research, attending depositions, negotiating settlements, and representing clients in court and administrative hearings.
Key Responsibilities:

  • The candidate will be responsible for all aspects of Employment law cases
  • Providing guidance and counsel to the clients through effective communication
  • Handling medical reviews and negotiating and settling of cases as necessary
  • Must have strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Firm understanding of Employment Law
  • Ability to handle a caseload and have effective leadership skills
Minimum Requirements:
  • Active Florida Bar License
  • Previous Federal Court experience
  • Strong research and analytical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet guidelines.
  • Must have at least two (2) years of employment law experience, or two (2) years of legal experience, plus a clear passion for learning employment law
