Job Description CNC Programmer, Advanced MachiningThis role is built for a CNC Programmer who wants more than routine work. You will solve complex machining problems, work on tight tolerance parts, and grow into a technical leader on the floor.DUTIES
Program 3-axis, 4-axis, and early-stage 5-axis parts using TopSolid or similar
Support mill-turn work, live tooling, and secondary spindle operations
Set tooling, speeds, feeds, and cutting strategies
Run simulations and support prove outs
Take new parts from the print review through the first article
Troubleshoot chatter, tool wear, finish issues, and variation
Build setup sheets and standard process documentation
Work side by side with machinists during setup and early runs
Improve programs for clarity, repeatability, and cycle time
Required Skills
3 to 6 years in CNC programming or advanced setup
Experience with multi-axis machining
Comfortable with prove outs and real shop floor problem solving
Strong print reading and GD and T basics
Preferred Skills
Mill turn or live tool lathe experience
Aerospace or tight-tolerance work
Drive to build great technical skills
